Hi, we’re Roy and Kelly. Welcome to our blog where we chronicle our personal experience on our small homestead. We grow a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables for our family and others. We raise a few chickens, a lot of dogs, and too many cats. We use natural ingredients like compost and rock minerals to enhance our land’s structure. We practice crop rotation and companion planting to ward of pests. We plant flowers and herbs to attract beneficial insects and birds. We are always happy to talk about what we grow and how we do it, and to learn from you. We are proud to be part of our community, serving and feeding our neighbors.
